WP Theme Marketplace, Feedburner Glitch, and WordPress Plugins

WP Theme Marketplace will soon be opening. WP Theme Marketplace is going to be (as the name implies) a marketplace for WordPress themes. WordPress.com bloggers will be able to pay to use the themes in the marketplace while WordPress.org users will be able to use the themes for free. More at Everybody Go To.

Google’s Feedfetcher stats weren’t showing up when users were looking at Feedburner stats over the weekend. More at Problogger.

WordPress Plugins - Admin Drop-Down Menus, Different Posts Per Page, Download Counter Lite, Download Counter Advanced, etc. More at Weblog Tools Collection.

Week of WordPress Plugins Day 4 - Download Counter Lite

Download Counter Lite - “Keep track of the number of downloads from your site. That’s all it does and does it simply. Keep a list of the downloadable files, replace the URL with the one the plugin gives you and, hopefully, sit back and watch the numbers rise!”

Week Of WordPress Plugins Day 3 - Admin Drop Down Menus

Admin Drop Down Menus - This plugin creates drop down menus in the WordPress admin panel, so instead of having most things two mouse clicks away and a couple of page loads away, it is only once click and one page load away.

Week of WordPress Plugins Day 2 - NoFollow Free

NoFollow Free - “This Wordpress plugin remove the “nofollow” attribute from your wordpress blog’s comments (precisely from the author’s links) and/or from the comments text links and it inserts (if you want) an image band at the top of your pages with the phrase: “NOFOLLOW FREE” to encourage your users to submit comments.
The last release includes new options to replace the nofollow only when the author posted X comments before and put back the nofollow when some blacklisted words are matched. The replacement of the nofollow is also based on the users type (registered and visitor users). Every option can be customized by the options page “NOFF”.”

Week of WordPress PLugins Day 1 - Homepage Excerpts

Homepage Excerpts - “The plugin has two main objectives. The first one is to make blogs that use full posts on the homepage more search engine friendly. The second one is to give flexibility to people that want to use both full posts and excerpts on the homepage.”
